TIME FOR A MAKEOVER

Everyone loves a good makeover scene. We were feeling a little Mia Grimaldi (that is, pre discovering out she was the Princess of Genovia) with waves of teen angst, not great eyebrows, etc. hence its was no time like now to up the 41 Winks ante. Along with sharing a sprinkling of behind the scenes footage, we’re pumped to talk you through the beginnings of our upcoming transformation that we’re launching in ONE WEEK.

The creation process along the re-launch of 41 Winks and seeing our products come to life on the site is… well, it is amazing. Dark mascara tears of joy run down our faces as we watch our baby come to life. For the last few months we ate, slept and dreamt 41 Winks, and more than ever we know the brand like the back of our hands.  All the yearning for more – more inspiration, more personality, more bedding – consumed our work hard play hard lives.

We spent a lot of time feeling inspired, which let’s be honest isn’t too not hard to do in New York City. From window shopping, to actually shopping, beautiful ideas were all around us. A tip: great ideas came most naturally over lunch outings, and as such we graciously attended many.  Some of our most favorite ideas were born at The Smile and Lafayette. Imagine if we never dined over that parfait! We may have never thought to curate our new product line using upcycled fabrics…

There’s inspiration sleeping all around us, waiting to be woken up and explored. We kind of preach that here at 41 Winks. Walk often and not blindly, talk to strangers, take pictures, write down your ideas, put your own twist on it. Thinking and living this way helped us create our new 41 Winks Collections. Inspiration boards also helped. A lot. Fashion trends, artwork, technology, culture. “Cut it out and throw it on the board!” Seeing is believing.

Taking trips to see, feel and plan fabrics has been a designer’s dream come true. We hand picked every material used in our new collections, and are proud of each one.

We’re doing what we love creating 41 Winks bedding, and we’re so excited you’re here to see the new us. Our Spring collections have true personality, and we hope they speak to you as they all speak to us… with confidence, passion and a lil’ sass!
